SIMO EDUCACIÓN presents the most distinguished technological tools at its stands and in its halls, which are aimed at optimising teaching and learning processes: proposals involving interactivity for the classroom, solutions for adaptive and collaborative learning, digital content, management and communication platforms, printing solutions, 3D printing, virtual reality and augmented reality, gamification, robotics, programming, touch-screens, projectors and digital pens, plus a large variety of devices and applications aimed at the teaching activity.
SIMO EDUCACIÓN 2017 will once again be the venue for a full programme of speeches, presentations and practical workshops, organised in collaboration with Educación 3.0, which will feature contributions from around 200 speakers. The event, organised by IFEMA between 25 and 27 October in Hall 12 of Feria de Madrid, will make use of seven lecture halls where the different sessions will cover the latest in trends, teaching experiences and innovative initiatives surrounding the ICT sector and its application in educational centres.
In this context, subjects of great importance to the educational community will be tackled, such as artificial intelligence, emotional learning, neuroeducation; the detection of dyslexia, and green education. Thus far, confirmation of attendance has been received from the North American educationalist, researcher and artificial intelligence expert Roger Schank, and Julio Fontán, Director of the Fontán de Bogotá School (Colombia), one of the most pioneering in the world.
Heike Freire, education consultant and writer; Francisco Mora, neuroscientist and Chair of the Madrid Complutense University; Luz Rello, Founder of Change Dyslexiahttps://changedyslexia.org/; and Rafael Bisquerra, Director of the Postgraduate Course in Emotional Learning and Well-being at Barcelona University will also share with delegates their personal vision of how to apply the latest scientific and technological advances to the everyday lives of teachers.
Following on from the success of the practical workshops at the 2016 event, this year SIMO EDUCACIÓN will dedicate two rooms exclusively to training workshops focused on a variety of topics: programming, robotics, educational use of drones, inclusive education, service learning, virtual reality, big data in education, yoga and mindfulness in the classroom, gamification, maker methodology, assessment, teamwork and many, many more.
