Martina Moetz returns to her Austrian roots after 18 years aboard

St. Gilgen International School welcomes Martina Moetz

Moetz took the position of Director, or Head of School, of the English-speaking institution this month

At the beginning of January, Martina Moetz took over as the new director (Head of School) of St.Gilgen International School. The English-speaking school in St. Gilgen, Austria, prides itself as being one of the best international schools in Europe, with a student body of 150 and classroom sizes of 8-12 students. Ms Moetz, who has obtained Austrian, as well as international qualifications, is supported in her new role by experienced and dedicated teachers.

The Lower Austrian native, having first completed her studies in Austria, was then awarded a Fulbridge Scholarship in the USA. Ms Moetz has over 21 years of teaching experience, 18 years of which she spent aboard, teaching at schools in the Bahamas and Angola. Prior to taking on her role at St. Gilgen International School, Ms Moetz was Head of School at the United World College in New Mexico, USA.
