The Chatsworth Schools group has announced the acquisition of Tiny Toes Day Nurseries.
The three Oxfordshire nurseries – located in Abingdon, Steventon and Wallingford – cater for children aged 0-5.
“Each nursery endeavours to provide children with a wide range of exciting and educational activities to stimulate each child’s individual imagination, sense of creativity and thirst for knowledge,” said Tiny Toes.
“All children are treated equally with respect, attention and all the praise and encouragement they require to play and learn at their own pace.”
Chatsworth Schools’ founder and CEO Anita Gleave said: “We are delighted to make this announcement and to welcome Tiny Toes to Chatsworth Schools. There are now 12 schools and nurseries in the Chatsworth family, and we will continue to enable outstanding futures at each and every one of them.
“We see it as our duty to build the most amazing learning experiences for all of our children and to enable innovative, caring and child-focused education. We look forward to working with the children, parents and staff at Tiny Toes to continue to deliver this.”
Private equity investor, Synova Capital, provided additional capital and strategic support.
“Synova is extremely pleased to have been part of the core team that worked on these acquisitions with Chatsworth Schools,” said Tim Ashlin, a partner at the firm.
“We have a strong track record of value creation and are committed to building partnerships and providing support throughout the life of our investments.”
Chatsworth Schools’ acquisition of the Oxfordshire nurseries follows last year’s acquisition of Hall School Wimbledon, Benedict House Preparatory School, Crown House Preparatory School, Griffin House Preparatory School and Marylebone Village Nursery School.
