Play on: renewed identity and focus for sports surfacing experts
Stephanie Broad
Sports surfacing can make or break a performance. To create exceptional play conditions you have to start with a great surface.
Nova Sport Ltd specialises in the supply and installation of polymeric and artificial grass multisport areas (MUGAs), courts and tracks along with playground surfaces. As of summer 2016, they now also offer crucial maintenance and repair services, extending the lifespan of sports and play surfaces, making sure that tired surfaces are either renewed and injected with a new lease of life or replaced when maintenance becomes unviable.
It stands to reason that this British, industry-leading company would also give itself the same rejuvenating treatment; and as of this August 2016, Nova Sport is proud to showcase its new brand identity and refreshed website, with a focus on stunning visual images and recent case studies.
One such case study is Prince Edward School in Sheffield. Nova Sport installed 700m2 of sports surfacing for a new MUGA facility and an artificial grass play area to the side. The new MUGA is a great example of Nova Sport’s ability to create prime playing space facilities and now with its new maintenance programme, it can also be maintained for many years to come with regular cleaning, line remarking and wear and tear repairs. In future years, if it needs extra TLC, the option of re-spraying the surface to boost colour, resurface, or touch up the anti-slip coatings is an option.
For more information about Nova Sport’s maintenance range for polymeric surfaces, wet pour surfaces and synthetic turf, visit the new website at: www.novasport.co.uk
