Mark Wilson will take up the position of head of school at ACS International School Egham from this August.
Wilson has over two decades of leadership experience in British and international education at top International Baccalaureate (IB) schools across Asia and the US. Wilson will be coming to the school from his current position as head of school at the British International School Houston, Texas. Prior to this role, Wilson was headteacher at The British International School Shanghai.
ACS Egham has been offering the IB curriculum, which is world-renowned for academic excellence, for over 20 years and is one of only two schools in the UK to offer the entire IB programme, from junior through middle and senior school. Wilson will drive this legacy forward with his experience delivering an IB education to the highest standard; his current school received a 100% IB Diploma Programme (DP) pass rate in its most recent results.

Wilson’s teaching background is rooted in Drama and the Arts, and he holds a BA Hons Degree in Drama/Dance and a PGCE teaching qualification in Education (Drama) from Middlesex University. Wilson has also provided guidance as an educational leadership trainer, consultant, and guest speaker for a variety of organisations, including PGCE Teacher Training Programmes at Middlesex University and the Royal Academy of Dance.
