Beech Hall School has celebrated the festivities, spreading Christmas spirit with the local community across two key events.
The Tytherington-based school recently opened its doors and warmly welcomed parents, neighbours and friends to its Christmas Market, organised by the BHPA (Beech Hall Parents’ Association.)
Guests were entertained throughout the evening with festive music from Macc Brass, talented pupil Brad Monroe on the piano and the in-house band, The Fifth, whilst indulging in complimentary mince pies and mulled wine.
Excited children were invited to visit Father Christmas in his grotto, the school’s cosy wooden lodge, where he was handing out presents. Parents and visitors had the opportunity to complete their Christmas shopping browsing the quality market stalls, a number of which included locally made hand-crafted goods.
To spread further Christmas spirit throughout the area, the school brought joyful cheer to the iconic furniture and interiors store, Arighi Bianchi, with the Beech Hall Choir performing renditions of well-known seasonal songs for shoppers.
Headmaster James Allen commented: “It is wonderful to have opportunities to share our festive celebrations with those in our neighbouring area. The school choir put on a delightful performance and represented the school excellently at both events. The BHPA has once again done an incredible job organising the Christmas Market, it was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by all.”
