Bromsgrove School pupil triumphantly going downhill

The school’s Siena Horton scooped the overall title at the Delancey British National Alpine Championships in Tignes

Bromsgrove School’s Siena Horton is celebrating after she took the overall title at the Delancey British National Alpine Championships in Tignes last week to become the U16 Overall British National Champion – a fantastic end to her career in the children’s racing category.

Following the Championships, Siena hotfooted it back to the UK to compete in hockey’s U16 National Finals for Stourport in Nottingham. The team made it through to the Final but lost 2-0 to Surbiton. Siena also plays for Stourport Ladies first team, who recently won the West Conference National League.

England Hockey have just officially confirmed Siena’s selection for England against Ulster from 5-7 May at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.
