China portraits win photography comp

Photographs from a Queen’s School trip to China have won two fourteen-year-old girls prizes in a national competition

Fourteen-years-olds, Eleanor Wood Bowyer and Sophia Hilton entered into the IOE Confucius Institute’s Young Photographers’ Competition after their school trip this summer.

Eleanor won the ‘Impressions’ Portfolio Photograph category and Sophia was runner-up in the ‘Unexpected China’ single photograph competition with her picture.

Eleanor receives £200 of Amazon vouchers and Sophia £50 of vouchers.

Both girls will now see their work displayed at the Institute of Education in Central London.
