PrimarySite, a leading UK primary school website provider, is inviting pupils to create their very own Christmas themed, digitally designed card, and encouraging them to be as traditional or as quirky as they like.
The competition winner will receive 200 professionally printed cards of their design to send out to friends, family and school supporters. An e-card version of the design, which will be credited to the winning pupil and school, will also be sent out to all PrimarySite schools.
Geoff Millington, managing director of PrimarySite, comments: “The competition got a great response last year; we had entries with some really creative designs from pupils as young as four. The winner, eight-year-old Ollie from Mark C of E First School in Somerset, was really excited to see his design turned into a professional Christmas card. The feedback we had from teachers, who actually incorporated the competition as an activity into their lesson plans in the run-up to Christmas, was that it was a really fun and festive activity, perfect for any rainy (or snowy!) days. It was a competition that both teachers and pupils enjoyed; incentive enough for us to run another one!”
The closing date for entries is Thursday 4th December, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 17th December.
