I am an independent school parent that also believes in what Eton school are trying to do by decolonising the curriculum.
In science, the arts, Latin and philosophy the curriculum is full of Western thinking and contributions. I would like to see more Chinese, Indian and African philosophy and culture. If the world is made up of 60 percent Asians and Africa has the fastest growing population in the world, are our children ready for a world that they know nothing about through Western indoctrination? I think the value of the others story is more valuable and useful today than any other time.
