Rydal Penrhos coach Will Owen, an ex-Glamorgan bowler, has announced a series of cricket camps over the summer holidays.
Owen looks set to inspire the next generation further at the summer camps, which will be held at Boughton Hall Cricket Club, where he currently plays.
Joining Owen at the camp will be Lee Dixon, who is the current Cheshire and Chester captain and will be assisting the Prestatyn resident throughout the summer.
Owen became a member of Glamorgan’s squad in 2011 and took 30 first-class wickets, while also making 69 against Derbyshire, sharing a club-record tenth wicket stand with James Harris.
A world renowned choreographer will also be holding a special summer camp.
Dane Bates, who has worked on shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and a host of West End Shows, will be leading a four-day camp at the school.
He will be assisted during the camp by Jack Higgins, who reached the BGT semi-finals after wowing judges with his audition during week two of the show, which was likened to the movie Billy Elliot.
Also joining the DB Masterclasses will be Ben Davies, who has worked with the likes Ellie Goulding, and Jess Glyne, in addition to popular shows such as X Factor and The Voice UK. British champion gymnast Jessica Jones will also be on hand to lend support during the camp.
There will be a host of different activities throughout the camp, including technique, jazz, acro/gymnastics, commercial/street dance and musical theatre.
