Based in Edinburgh, MorphCostumes distributes branded spandex costumes based on the existing skin-tight garments, which cover the whole body.

Gregor said that from an initial £1,000 investment and a £150 web site launched back in 2009, the company has grown into one with 30 employees and a turnover of £10,000,000 a year.

He went on to explain that the company's Facebook page has been a key element in their marketing, with 250,000 fans as of Halloween 2010, 760,000 fans as of September 2011.The page reached one million likes on April 15, 2012.

Gregor said: "We strive to be the world’s most innovative fancy dress costume company. Think Nasa mixed with Google in a spandex factory!"

Jonathan Hewat, director of external affairs at Loretto, said: "We are most grateful to Gregor for sparing his valuable time to speak to the pupils. He not only gave the pupils valuable tips and pointers on how to succeed in business, but also an insight into his most successful company and well-known brand. The pupils were inspired by his talk."
