Now in its second year, free one-day educational conference Educated Yorkshire (EY16) will provide head teachers and senior leaders from across the region with the opportunity to come together and share knowledge while hearing from the industry’s leading professionals on emerging themes and topics.
The inaugural event, which took place in 2015, aimed to encourage collaboration between Yorkshire schools to help raise standards across the region and saw around 300 delegates attend.
New to the conference this year, EY16 will host up to 15 What I Feel Like Expressing (WIFLE) talks, covering a variety of themes including mental health, finance, CPD, community, raising standards, managing people, IT and strategy.
The 10-minute sessions are open to delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and partners who wish to give a talk with an education focus. At the end of the talk there is no opportunity for questions but the ‘WIFLEr’ can invite delegates to open up questions at the relevant staffroom.
Whilst the full programme of events is yet to be announced, the conference looks set to host around 70 exhibitors showcasing the latest innovations and services, a large number of speakers in addition to the WIFLE talks, meet the company meetings and networking.

These 10 minute sessions are open to both exhibitors and delegates and will give individuals them an opportunity to share their thoughts or ideas with their peers.”
