Farlington takes part in Macmillan Coffee Morning

The annual event overcame poor weather to be a ‘great success’

Farlington School joined Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September.

The coffee morning was moved to the Mansion House reception rooms due to poor weather, but that did not stop the event from being a great success.

The charity fundraiser is run every year at Farlington by the boarders and brought parents, staff, girls and pets together to raise money for a worthwhile cause.

Sue Powell, Head of Boarding, said: “The boarders love taking part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning: it gives the girls a chance to raise funds for a fantastic charity and integrate with the day girls and the rest of the Farlington community.”
