The first cohort of GCSE pupils at Wetherby Senior School has achieving a fine set of results, with 36% of grades awarded at grade 9 / A*.
The Marylebone-based school celebrated an overall pass rate of 99%, with a 100% pass rate in English, Maths and Science subjects. 71% of grades awarded were at grade 7 / A or above.
One notable achievement came from Regent’s Park resident, Talal Hangari, who secured the top grade in all exams.
Headmaster, Seth Bolderow, said: “This is an outstanding start for our GCSE results’ record and we are very proud of both our pupils and staff for their hard work and commitment. Our boys recognise that excellence is the result of persistent effort which, alongside the dedication from our skilled teaching staff, is testament to these brilliant results.”
