Katie takes a bite of the Big Apple

A student at Howell’s Co-Ed College in Cardiff will head to New York next month to study at the Juilliard School for music and dance

Howell’s Co-Ed College student, Katie Jenkins, will move to America in September to study at a world-renowned music and dance school. She will be taking up her unconditional offer of a place at the Juilliard School to study composition.

Principal of Howell’s Co-Ed College, Sally Davis, said: “Katie has been with us at Howell’s since she was three. First in the Nursery, then the Prep School and Senior School, and for the last two years she has been an enthusiastic and valuable member of our College. Katie has been making music since she joined us 15 years ago, and I am absolutely delighted that her dedication and hard work have paid off. The Juilliard School will be very lucky to have a Howell’s girl in their classes, and everyone here looks forward to hearing about her Manhattan adventures.”
