The Queen’s Lower School girls compete in Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon to raise money for hospice of teacher’s son

The four Year 6 pupils – Freya Ainsworth from Parkgate, Cara Henshall from Broxton, Ellia Houghton from near Malpas and Imogen Okell from near Tarporley – have raised nearly £1,000 for Zoe’s Place in Liverpool, where Queen’s teacher Mrs Worsfold’s son Stanley is looked after.

A total of 11 girls from Queen’s – from years 5 and 6 – took part in the triathlon. The Year 5 team came first in their race, with two Year 6 teams placing 2nd and 3rd in theirs.
