Twice as nice

BRITA Vivreau celebrates two awards at The West London Business Awards 2017

At the recent West London Business Awards 2017, BRITA Vivreau, the pioneers of purified drinking water systems, took home two awards.

With 22 awards up for grabs at the prestigious gala dinner, held at London’s Wembley Stadium, BRITA Vivreau won ‘Green Business of the Year’ and the ‘Responsible Supply Chain Award’.

The ceremony was hosted by former Blue Peter presenter, Konnie Huq, and was attended by over 350 guests, including West London’s business leaders and upcoming talent. Debbie Tate, Communications & Marketing Director of BRITA Vivreau, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have won not one, but two awards. I want to dedicate both accolades to my team, which has worked tirelessly on our cuttingedge products which are now being used in five-star hotels, restaurants, bars and offices in the UK and across the world.”

“It feels incredible to be recognised for our commitment to reducing carbon footprint as it’s a vital part of our company ethos,” continued Debbie.

“I thoroughly enjoyed the evening and it was wonderful to network with other business experts in the region.”

Currently in its fourth year, the West London Business Awards 2017 was held on 2nd February at Wembley Stadium.

The judges of the awards were particularly impressed with BRITA Vivreau’s Table Water Bottling System which dispenses unlimited chilled still and sparkling filtered water. Ideal for conference facilities in educational institutions, this system allows for in-house water purification, eliminating the need to order, purchase, deliver and recycle pre-bottled water.

BRITA Vivreau’s product portfolio does not end at bottling systems. The brand continues to develop new solutions for the supply of purified water, to adapt to a variety of commercial requirements and minimise unnecessary environmental costs associated with pre-bottled mineral waters.

The ViTap, for one, was created to address the issue of efficiency, and is capable of dispensing boiling hot, cold, still and sparkling, perfectly purified water at the touch of a button, all from one beautifully-designed tap. Robust enough to deal with high demand, with an energy-saving option and zero splash, the ViTap’s aim of improving efficiency in a multitude of hospitality and corporate environments is without doubt.

Another first for BRITA Vivreau came in the form of the LinkLine system.

For businesses that truly want to maximise the benefits of water filtration installations, one centrally located master control unit distributes still or sparkling, chilled or hot water to any outlet within a building (over any number of floors), which is re-circulated continuously to eradicate the risk of stagnant water. Having been proven to be up to 55% more efficient than individual units, as well as up to 45% more cost-effective, this idea was soon adopted by a whole host of leading global businesses. Much like the effects of the first Table Water Bottling System, LinkLine highlights how BRITA Vivreau continues to pave the way for business sustainability, and was the main reason in the judges’ decision to award BRITA Vivreau with the ‘Responsible Supply Chain’ accolade. Not one for stopping at production and distribution alone, BRITA Vivreau has taken its ethics of sustainability one step further with the launch of the ‘Foot Soldiers’ initiative. One quarter of all BRITA Vivreau engineers in the London area walk or travel via public transport to service BRITA Vivreau systems on site, eliminating an approximate 36,400kg of CO2 emissions per engineer per year.

Servicing the needs of 75% of the top 100 UK companies and an ever-increasing number of Fortune 500 companies, with offices across the globe, the impact of BRITA Vivreau’s eco-friendly initiatives gets stronger every day.

By opting for a BRITA Vivreau system, educational institutions can achieve sustainable practice with growth year on year, whilst eradicating the associated costs of pre-bottled waters. From a reduction in transport use to the elimination of packaging waste, BRITA Vivreau is setting the global industry standard for drinking water, and continues to provide organisations across the globe with the technological ingenuity of the ultimate in environmentallyaware beverage equipment.
