Intelligent Education: your solution to reducing workload

Hoda Elgamil, founder of Intelligent Education, says it is time we eliminate time-consuming marking processes

Our story starts one day as I sat down for a cup of coffee with one of my lovely friends who was working as a teacher assistant.

As we were talking about life and how we end up spending our time, she started to tell me about how she has to finish a lot of paperwork and how marking those papers consumes a large portion of time and effort, so much so that she has to sacrifice her family and personal time and has even lost part of the passion that has driven her thus far.

She was wondering how in the 21st century, and in this world of huge technological achievements, no one has yet developed a solution to a problem that affects millions of teachers worldwide.

An idea started to develop in my mind on how to solve this problem and ensure that such a vital, but time-consuming, task can be brought into the present age. From this point onwards, the idea started to take a specific shape and thus my new product started.

Our research shows that teachers spend five to six hours each week preparing and marking pupils’ work, which proves that there really is a big problem in a vital sector that needs solving.

Our new product is what will provide the radical solution to this problem.

E-quiz will be launched soon and will help schools’ senior leadership teams and teachers immensely. It will help teachers to not only eliminate a lot of time and work being spent marking quizzes and homework, it will also provide them with a veritable bank of information in the form of a plethora of questions thus serving a double purpose.

The end result would be saving a large amount of the time spent marking and preparing homework and quizzes, freeing up teachers’ time to pursue more creative methods to improve the students’ learning experience. On the other hand, teachers and school leadership teams will get an idea about pupils’ performance a lot quicker and at their fingertips. As an added benefit, this would reduce the use of actual paper, making the whole education process more environmentally friendly.

Are you passionate about trying our new product? We are waiting for you in our first presence at the Bett 2020 show in London. Bring your friends and colleagues from the education sector and bring us all your questions, doubts and thoughts. We are sure you will be quite satisfied and even impressed by what we have to offer and will end up using our product daily within your work processes.
