Beech Hall School staff and pupils had a day of bright and messy fun when they held a colour run as its final fundraiser for the NSPCC.
Pupils from reception up to year 11 wore their most crisp white clothes and ran laps of the school field diving and dodging as teachers took aim with their colour bombs.
The year groups started in waves with reception kicking things off. Over £100 has been raised for the NSPCC and more is still to be counted from the run.
Other fundraising initiatives throughout this year include donation boxes in the school, a collection during the school Easter service, a teddy bears’ picnic and an activity where infants worked for the staff for the day polishing trophies and folding programmes for £1 for 20 minutes.
This was a brilliant way to end the year raising some money for an incredibly important charity - James Allen, Headmaster
Headmaster, James Allen commented: “The NSPCC has been incredibly supportive this term, providing some brilliant assemblies and workshops promoting the Speak Out Stay Safe campaign. This was a brilliant way to end the year raising some money for an incredibly important charity.”
