Girls from Saint Martin’s year-seven A and B hockey teams competed in the West Midlands Hockey tournament recently, with the A team coming out on top and winning the whole competition. They will now got through to play the winning schools from all the other counties at Cannock Hockey Club in April. The school, based in Solihull, say that this is an amazing result for them and head of PE, Mrs Burgess, congratulated all the girls who took part in the tournament. Taking pupils from nursery through to 18, the school offers non-means-tested sports scholarships at year seven, along with those for academic subjects, music and the performing arts.
