As we begin a new year, we face two clear facts: enrolment numbers in UK independent schools have and are continuing to fall, and parents around the country will face increasing financial constraints.

The School Leaders Summit – a free, two-day conference – has been developed as a result of intensive research with more than 100 heads, governors, business managers and leaders from across the country. As such, school leaders and management teams will be able to discuss the issues of most significance to schools at the moment. These will include using technology to enhance learning, innovating teaching and learning, designing a fair and effective teacher appraisal policy and achieving successful communication with staff, pupils and parents.
Alongside this, the Education Show continues to lead the way in terms of the variety and value of the CPD on offer. More than 120 free-to-attend seminars, workshops and discussion sessions will run over the show’s three days, offering something for everyone. From practical ‘how do I…?’ sessions to inspiring technology workshops, specific teaching practice and whole school topics will be addressed.
