Latest innovations in sports surface systems
As the leader in their field, SIS Pitches are at the cutting-edge of sports surface innovation and development. As a company they invest significant time, energy and resource in the pursuit of new artificial grass systems and solutions, with the ultimate goal of making the turf more realistic in order to bring out the very best in all players.
Performance, durability, safety and value are key areas of focus, as is the quest to develop systems that are constructed and manufactured using sustainable methods and raw materials. They work closely with key suppliers to ensure they are offering the highest grade polymers, as well as the very latest and best in fibre extrusion technology.
All of the turf is manufactured at the bespoke production facility in Maryport, Cumbria, which has recently undergone a £1.8m investment to provide a state-of-the-art coating line; offering the ability to provide both latex and polyurethane (PU) coatings on turf products. This latest innovation will help to ensure SIS Pitches produce only the highest quality products, as well as remaining at the forefront of turf technology.
