A new nursery at Loughborough Endowed Schools will offer places to children from six weeks to four years old and is located at the town centre’s Our Lady’s Convent School’s campus. It will provide high quality childcare for up to 60 children in the local community from 7.30am to 6pm on weekdays, 51 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays. Although the nursery is part of the Loughborough Endowed Schools Foundation, places are available to all families with children in the local area.
Carla Brindley, who will lead the team, said: “I’m really passionate about opening the nursery at Loughborough Endowed Schools and can’t wait to greet our first children. It’s fantastic to be able to offer such a comprehensive service, so parents can leave their little ones with us knowing they’ll be well looked after by a professional, friendly, experienced team of staff.
The spacious, ground-floor facilities include outdoor spaces, dining room and gymnasium. The daily rates include nappies, milk, food and a wide range of activities to encourage children to be creative, active and sociable.
Loughborough Endowed Schools has a long history in the town, providing independent education for children aged from three to 18. Since January, three of its four schools have been judged to be excellent in all aspects following inspections by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
The nursery is set to create more than 20 new jobs in the local area for highly-qualified, permanent early years practitioners.
