Peregrines off to a flying start

Putney’s Peregrines Pre-Preparatory School has welcomed its first cohort

Putney-based Falcons Family of Schools has extended a warm welcome to its first cohort of new boy and girl pupils as part of its new Peregrines Pre-Preparatory School launch.

Located within the leafy conservation area of Woodborough Road, on the same site as sister school, Falcons School for Girls, the coed Peregrines Pre-Preparatory is a family school for boys and girls aged three to eight.

The site has benefitted from considerable investment to create new IT facilities and ‘freeflow’ learning and play areas.

Headmistress Sara Williams-Ryan explained: “We are thrilled to welcome our inaugural Peregrines boy and girl pupils, and are delighted to see them enjoying the newly improved facilities.

“We want our pupils to be ambitious, have a go, be positive and take responsibility for their behaviour and learning.”

Throughout the year, Peregrines is hosting a series of ‘come and play’ events. The first will take place at 10-11.30am on 1st November. Locally-based children aged under four are invited for refreshments and to join in the activities, including tackling a junior obstacle course.
