Alice Holifield has started her new role as head of pre-prep at Elstree School with plans to offer a range of after-school activities for pupils to enjoy.
While the nursery and pre-prep are already co-educational, the whole school will be fully co-educational from September 2020.
Holifield said: “I am pleased that Elstree will now be able to provide girls with the same stimulating and nurturing environment as the boys.
“To cater for a wider range of talents and interests, we are planning to offer several different after-school activities, including arts and craft, ballet, dance, fencing, football, French, judo and tennis.”
