Meccano Robots coming to a summer camp near you!

New partnership between Super Camps and Meccano includes the new programmable robot, the Meccanoid G15

Appearing at more than 50 venues hosted by Super Camps throughout the summer holidays, Meccano is the first engineering and robotics brand that uses real tools and innovative technology and will thrill any kids who enjoy the excitement of building and inventing.

Children on the ‘Passion for... super science’ course will build, programme and play with the Meccanoid before it makes an appearance on the Multi-Activity course. Every child on the Super Science course will take home their very own Meccano Maxi Kit.

Around since the early 1900’s, building with Meccano teaches the principles of mechanic engineering with real world tools and materials. Developing dexterity and functional skills, the course will engage small groups to build both independently and collectively whilst stretching their imaginations.

With its voice recognition capabilities and over 1,000 pre-programmed phrases, it can tell jokes and play games. The Meccanoid G15 uses advanced technology and four servo motors to deliver realistic movement.
